The Fairmont Palliser is a 4-star landmark hotel in downtown Calgary connected via the Skywalk to the Telus Convention Center, the Calgary Tower and the Glenbow Museum. Stephen Avenue, Calgary's most popular shopping area, is located just one block north of the hotel and features boutique shops, restaurants, coffee houses and department stores spread over a 5-block area.

All guests have complimentary usage of the on-site Boulevard Club, a first-class health club located on the Boulevard Level of the property that includes an indoor pool, a 12-person whirlpool, large steam room, changing rooms with toiletries and a fitness center with an extensive array of cardiovascular and strength training equipment. Other property amenities include unlimited access valet parking (fee), laundry/dry cleaning services, concierge, bell staff, express check-out, gift shop and more.

The air conditioned guestrooms at the Fairmont Palliser are elegantly decorated and feature one king, one queen or two double beds and city views. Room amenities include high speed internet access with data port (fee), cordless telephone with dual line, desk/chair, alarm clock/radio, cable TV with pay-per-view movies, mini bar, down duvets, coffee/tea maker, bathrobe, hair dryer, vanity mirror and iron/board. Several additional amenities are also available upon request including crib, humidifier, microwave, mini refrigerator, rollaway or sofa bed and toaster.

The Fairmont Palliser's Sunday Brunch was voted "Calgary's Best Brunch" by Where Calgary Magazine. The buffet is located in the lobby and includes carved roasts, seafood and salads, Belgian waffles, omelets made to order, decadent desserts from the pastry kitchen and live piano music, served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sundays. Note that the Brunch does not operate from June through the end of September.

Other dining options include the Oak Room Lounge, serving tapas, appetizers and drinks from 11:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. Monday through Saturday, from 3 p.m. to midnight on Sundays and holidays. The Rimrock offers classic dining amongst hand tooled leather pillars, original artist murals and a landmark heritage fireplace. A breakfast buffet is served in the morning and succulent cuts of beef, home made desserts and creative appetizers are served for lunch and dinner. Open 6:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. daily for breakfast, 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for lunch Monday to Friday (closed on Saturday/Sunday) and 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. for dinner daily (except in March, where dinner is not served on Sundays).

Additionally, the Rimrock offers a special Death by Chocolate menu on Monday evenings from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Be prepared to indulge in decadent selections such as a fountain cascading with rich creamy chocolate, chocolate cheesecake, chocolate pizza, chocolate pate and many more chocolate creations. Of course, you can also enjoy in-room dining with room service available 24 hours a day for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
