Las Vegas

It's called The Entertainment Capital of the World; it welcomes 35 million people a year and is home to 1.4 million people. It's Las Vegas and there aren't enough adjectives to adequately describe it. It's glitzy, over-the-top, funky, unreal, fascinating and offers visitors a glittering array of things to see and do.

It's rather difficult to believe at times, but Las Vegas is also a place that has parks, quiet residential communities, grocery stores and schools. Not far from the city are ranches in the hills, unbelievably beautiful canyons, rock formations and stars that fill the sky.

But what most folks come for are the entertainment and the gambling, after all, it is a gambling Mecca. Whether you play the slots or high stakes Poker, Las Vegas is the place to be. From Bellagio and The Venetian to the Freemont and Main Street Station there are hotel casinos to fit every taste and budget. There is also entertainment to fit every budget including the wonderful Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas. A four block long electric canopy is part of the sight and sound show taking place nightly, free. Then there is the beautiful, magical, Cirque Du Soleil, a show not to be missed.
